Day 1- ARRIVAL IN YOGYAKARTA

Welcome by our local representative, with an English/French-speaking driver and guide. You will receive a short briefing by phone from the Bali Passion representative.

The rest of the day is free to relax, enjoy the hotel pool or explore the city. You can also discover the city by horse-drawn carriage or traditional three-wheeled pedicab.

OVERNIGHT IN YOGYAKARTA


Day 2 - ANCIENT TEMPLE – TRADITIONAL VILLAGE – HISTORIC TEMPLES

Today you will visit one of Indonesia's most impressive ancient Buddhist temples, dating back to the 8th century.

You will then continue to a traditional Javanese village. You can explore the village by horse-drawn carriage and discover local life, traditional crafts and activities such as making cassava crackers, playing traditional music and harvesting local products.

The day continues with visits to two smaller and older temples nearby, including a beautiful pyramid-shaped temple with impressive stone statues.

Day 3 - CITY TOUR – SULTAN'S PALACE – WATER PALACE – HINDU TEMPLE

Today you will explore the city of Yogyakarta.

You will begin with a visit to the Sultan's Palace, a beautiful example of traditional Javanese architecture.

Then discover the former royal water palace and learn about the traditional craft of making the famous Javanese puppets. In the afternoon, visit one of Indonesia's most impressive Hindu temple complexes, built in the 9th century and dedicated to the Hindu gods.

Day 4 - DEPARTURE

After your final preparations, your driver will transfer you to the airport for your international flight.
