Day 1- FLIGHT TO EAST JAVA

Your driver will pick you up at the hotel. 

Transfer to the airport for your flight to East Java. On arrival, walk to your airport hotel, located only a few minutes from the terminal.

OVERNIGHT NEAR THE AIRPORT

Day 2 - EAST JAVA – BORNEO – RIVER ADVENTURE

Flight from East Java to Borneo.

Please arrive at the airport one hour before departure.

On arrival, you will be welcomed by our local representative, who speaks some English and will be holding a sign with your name. Transfer to the riverside port, where you will board a traditional wooden boat, specially designed for exploring the tropical river. The boat is approximately 12 metres long and has an upper deck where you can enjoy the views of the rainforest. You will be accompanied by an English-speaking guide, captain, cook and crew.

During the cruise, explore the river and observe monkeys and other wildlife along the riverbanks.

DINNER AND OVERNIGHT ON THE BOAT. Simple mattresses, pillows and mosquito nets provided.

Day 3 - RIVER CRUISE – ORANGUTANS – RAINFOREST

After breakfast, continue the cruise for approximately 2½ hours to reach a remote rainforest area where orangutans live. The area is also an important research and conservation centre for orangutans. Enjoy a trek through the rainforest in search of wild orangutans, birds, other primates and tropical vegetation.

Return to the boat for lunch. In the afternoon, continue exploring the area and observe the orangutans during their feeding time.

OVERNIGHT ON THE BOAT

Day 4 - RAINFOREST – WILDLIFE – RIVER CRUISE

After breakfast, cruise to another area of the rainforest and visit a rehabilitation centre for orangutans that were previously kept in captivity.

You may observe the feeding session in the morning. Later, you can choose between several activities: another visit to the orangutan area, a visit to a reforestation project, or a hike through the rainforest. 

The afternoon is free to relax on the boat or visit a nearby local village.

OVERNIGHT ON THE BOAT

Day 5 - BORNEO – EAST JAVA – BALI – UBUD

Transfer back to the airport for your flight to East Java, followed by your connecting flight to Bali.

On arrival in Bali, your driver will be waiting for you and will transfer you to your hotel.
